Introductions

For my first blog post I wanted to talk about what my blog is for. This one is a extension of the Film Obsessed Podcast. I’ll be reviewing all the movies I watch, both new and old. If there is ever a movie you’d like me to watch and review just leave a comment at the bottom of our website! If you’re looking for bigger reviews or movie topics, just listen to the podcast.

A brief introduction to me and my love of movies. My name is Dakota, I’m the creator of The Oblivious Co. I created Film Obsessed as a outlet to talk about what I never shut up about, movies! I never got to go watch a lot of movies as a kid so when I got a car and started driving I went to the movies over and over. In 2017 alone I went to see over 100+ movies in theaters. I even currently at the time of writing this post, work at a movie theater.

My top 3 favorite movies are Tron, Gifted, and The Greatest Showman. My favorite genre is probably drama but horror is slowly rising up, at least slasher films! Comedies are my least favorite, I still like some but I’ve never been a big fan. If you ask me about a movie I like or don’t, be prepared for a LONG conversation!
